Not sure how you would or why. If you have a good reason I am sure you can. There are a lot of scams out there that tell people in credit trouble they can change their identity for like 5K. You just wipe off your dept and start your new life. I am not sure that will work unless you are enrolled in the witness protection program. You can legally change your name in one day. You can never legally change your identity, unless you're in the witness protection program.
